TRAINING COURSES FOR THERAPISTS TO LEARN TO WORK WITH NEURODIVERSE COUPLES - Developed by Grace Myhill

As the Association for Autism and Neurodiversity (AANE) Director of the Neurodiverse Couples Institute, I took my decades of knowledge and experience with working with neurodiverse couples in therapy and developed online training courses that teach couples how to recognize, understand, and treat neurodiverse couples in therapy.

Neurology Matters in Couples Therapy is a series of comprehensive training online courses that teach couples therapists how to effectively treat neurodiverse couples in therapy. Become a part of this groundbreaking opportunity and the growing field of neurodiverse couples therapy. No matter what type of therapy you are practicing, these courses will teach you how to make the necessary adjustments to your approach in order to help neurodiverse couples.

These training courses are inspired by the many voices of neurodiverse couples who invite you into their lives and share their experiences and their insights about the strengths and challenges of being in a neurodiverse relationship.

TRAINING 101:

Fundamentals of Working with Neurodiverse Couples in Therapy

This is a 10 hour, self-paced online course that you can access from anywhere by computer, tablet, or smartphone.  Therapists who have taken this course have realized that they already have clients in neurodiverse relationships, they just didn't know it, and that missing piece of vital information explained why they were not seeing the progress they expected to. By adjusting their therapeutic approach they were able to give these clients the help and understanding they so desperately needed. Therapists who sign up for this class are invited to a closed facebook group of other AANE trained neurodiverse couples therapists for ongoing connection and consultation. CEs: Earn 10 APA or ASWB ACE approved CEs.

CERTIFICATION 201:

You not only receive consultations on your client cases but upon successful completion, you will be listed on AANE’s webpage as an AANE Certified Neurodiverse Couples Therapist so couples in need of your services may easily find you. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your practice in this growing niche. Earn 12 APA CEs.
